poet wannabe.

I, want to be a poet.

Mother Nature woke one day
Feeling ill and rather off
Her nose was running endlessly
And she had a nasty cough
The Doctor came and took her pulse
Then slowly shook his head
He told her that she'd caught the flu
And sent her straight to bed
She pleaded with the Doctor
To dispense a special pill
She told him if she could not work
The world would soon stand still
But the Doctor could not understand
What Mother Nature meant
So she gave him some examples
As her worries she did vent
She said confusion would prevail
With no morning noon or night
The sun would cry itself to sleep
And no stars would twinkle bright
No rainbows or a crescent moon
Or a silken clear blue sky
With no whispers on the blowing breeze
To fade away and die
No more would clouds unite themselves
And bless us with their rain
The animals would roam no more
In the woods or on the plain
No eagles flying on the wing
Or the buzzing of a bee
With a tide that never ebbs or flows
And no fish deep in the sea
The seasons they would cease to be
Wth no snow or April showers
No leaves would fall in autumn
And there would be no summer flowers
Our world would be a sadder place
If these wonders could not be
The Doctor had no option
But to smile and then agree
He reached out for his bag
That rested on the window sill
Delving deep, his hand fell on
A very special pill
Mother Nature took her dose
And soon she was okay
And the world was saved cause
Mother Nature's flu had gone away

Join me at the dead of night
At a place down by the sea
A place so grand, a wonderland
Of spellbound fantasy

You'll find that day becomes the night
And time is standing still
Where moonbeams glow, and shadows flow
Then settle on a hill

Firefly's will fill the air
And swing on every tree
They'll float they'll fly, and light the sky
So everyone can see

Some fairies will be dancing round
A ring of dasies new
With golden wings, and other things
Coloured shades of violet blue

If your lucky you will see
An elf or two at play
With impish grins, committing sins
That's their order of the day

You'll see an Irish leprechaun
Putting wishes in his shoe
Counts one two three, and who knows he
Will give them all to you

Gargoyles, goblins, witches too
With potions by the score
Some puppy's tails, and slimy snails
With a claw and apple core

A unicorn will grace the night
With majestic majesty
With rampant horn, beauty adorned
For everyone to see

Pixies singing dancing too
Will steal your heart away
With steps in time, and words that rhyme
They'll surely make your day

A dragon will keep you warm and snug
With flames a metre high
He'll huff and puff, do other stuff
But will not make you cry

A special guest may just appear
On a cloud from out the blue
He'll let you wish, his wand he'll swish
And make your dreams come true

So join me at the dead of night
At a place down by the sea
A place so grand, a wonderland
Of spellbound fantasy

A thought is all I have of you
Now my memories are gone
A thought of love once so divine
Forever to live on

A thought to keep me company
When loneliness appears
A thought of all our yesterdays
Of hurting pain and tears

A thought of total ecstasy
For the time we spent as one
A thought to fill my lonely nights
Whenever day is done

A thought of just what might have been
Had the circumstance been right
A thought that true love on its own
Couldn't cause us to unite

A thought of thanks to God on high
As I lay me down to rest
A thought that just by loving you
My life was truly blessed

AND VANZ PROCLAIM THAT SHE ADMIRES FRANK MAGUIRE ALOT. :D

ps: love you too much to be true.
(tsk, this is a very long post and it makes my blog ugly fuggly ): whatever lah. )
